On Oct. 15, hundreds of MWA members rallied at city hall to demand a $30/hr living wage – $15 for expenses and $15 to live on. The motion, which instructs city staff to recommend how to draft a minimum wage for drivers, with a goal of $30/hr, passed unanimously.
